I once knew a man Honest and True, who’s insecurities soon shone through and even though I proved my love was real, he was too scared to follow through.
The man who I once thought he was, was really a little boy lost, who runs to those that feed his whims regardless of the mess it brings.
Unhappy in his little games, he makes excuses and tries to lay blame, at the feet of those who’s love is true, for to admit a wrong would be too much to chew.
And so this child rules the day and true love for ever he will push away, till there comes a time he’l reflect on life and see the pattern of his strife.
If only to himself he admits, then hope abides for a bit of bliss.
